Obama and Duncan: The Dystopian Double Down
President Obama and his friend Arne Duncan continue to push the “ConnectEd” idea. The dynamic duo pretends that more computers and higher internet access will “bring the world” to the fingertips of kids.
In reality, “ConnectEd” is little more than the opening stages of a campaign to make sure all schools can test kids as often as possible.
The real beneficiaries of ConnectEd are testing companies and computer companies. They will make billions.
As child poverty and homelessness rises, how about bringing food and shelter to kids before we try to “bring the world” to their fingertips.
